apor house

You never know what you find when you undertake a renovation process. It took us three years of hard work to restore a XIX. century historical building and to reorganise the apartments from an inhabitable state. During this process we worked together with archeologists, art historians and architects, and made many exciting discoveries about the history of the building.

The Apor house as we know it today was built at the end of the 19th century, but our discoveries indicate that there were mediaeval houses on this spot before, parts of which can be seen today in the building. In one of the apartments we even discovered parts of the city wall from the beginning of the 18th century.

Today we have 5 separate apartments, all of them suitable to host 2-4 people in a historical environment in modern conditions.
